Theme:  Practice, "For the things we have to learn before we can do them, we learn by doing them."

Fellowship:

Club’s 17th  Chapter meeting started on time with fellowship, Club members and EXCO were engaged in welcoming the guests, introducing themselves and briefing the activities to the guests and visiting toastmasters, making them comfortable and clearing their doubts.

Meeting called to the Order:

Sergeant at Arms TM Zheng Wei Xu called the 17th  Chapter meeting to order by welcoming all present members and guests.

Toastmaster of the day:

Toastmaster of the day Amy Chen kicked off the meeting by introducing agenda of the meeting and introduced the role holders and their roles.

Opening Address by Club President:

Club President CC, Pravin Mishra began his opening address by narrating story of Sir Edmund Hilary who had not been able to reach top of Mount Everest on his first attempt. Sir Edmund Hilarysaid, “Mount Everest, you beat me the first time, but I’ll beat you the next time because you’ve grown all you are going to grow… but I’m still growing!”

He further said, I implore you all to do speeches, take on meeting roles, help the organizing team during events and join the EXCO. I request you all do this in order to keep growing and thus meet your goals for joining Toastmasters.

Meeting was adjourned for 20 minutes for refreshment break and networking.
