Introduction: Fellowship

SAA Clarice Chen flagged off the speech marathon by welcoming all present members and guest. Visiting toastmasters introduced themselves by sharing their perspective about learning.

Our TMD Lim Chee Hoo kick off  the ball rolling.

Language evaluator of the day Christina Ho inspired us to appreciate the beauty of English language with emotions, gesture and using correct pronunciation for the word. She introduced the word 'SPARK' to learn in a different meaning & use it to express feelings.

Opening Address by Club President:

Club President Pravin outset by congratulating all club members for achieving two honourable club awards;

(1) President's Distinguish Toastmaster Club Award and,

(2) Beat the clock Award for accomplishing 5 new membership during month of May & June.

Pravin shared a heart touching story by playing a short meet & greet game to inspire the members to take initiative and perform the roles to learn & develop the leadership skills. He said “Initiative is often the difference between success and failure. Initiative is the first step to anywhere you want to go. “You don’t have to be good, to start: you have to start, to be good”.
