Club’s International Speech and Table Topics Contests 2018 Started on time with fellowship, all the club members & EXCO were engaged in welcoming the guests, introducing themselves and briefing the activities to the guests and visiting Toastmasters, making them comfortable and clearing their doubts.

Chief Judge Fernando Young briefed all the Judges, Timers and Tally Counter.

International Speech Contest Balloting

Contest Chair Anand Deshpande conducted the balloting for the speaking sequence for contestants and kicked off the meeting by introducing agenda of the meeting. He also introduced the role holders of organizing the team as per their respective roles.

Club President Roger See addresses all the contestant and the contests started on time. All the speakers gave their best shot in presenting their speeches.

Speech titles are as following for respective contestants:

1.    Joseph Soh, CC, CL – “This is just a thought”

2.    Ikshandar Khan, CC – “The Wonder of Ancient Egypt”

3.    Ang Wee Yong, DTM – “What’s your card?

4.    Abhishek Kapoor, CC – “Where’s the Spark?”

5.    Harsh Goel, CC, CL – “Primary School Leaving Examination”

6.    Rajesh Kumar, CC – “You and I are Different”

7.    Amy Chen, CC – “Living Dream”

8.    Lee Jin Hwui, DTM – “The value of our thick skin”

Munching & Mingling

The meeting was adjourned for 30 mins for a quick refreshment break. TM Divya and Raman helped with catering sumptuous food.

Table Topics contest

Contest Chair Anand Deshpande conducted contestants balloting for Table Topics contest and briefed the rules of the contest.

                                                                                     

Chief Judge Fernando Young selected the table topics for the contest out of three topics.

Contest Chair Anand Deshpande invited Club President Roger See for presenting the certificates of appreciation to all the contestants and organizing team members who supported in making the contest smoothly happen.

Gifts & Certificate of appreciation were also presented to Chief Judge and his panel of Judges.
