Reception and Registration

Club’s 15th Anniversary and Christmas Celebration kick-started with Registration of all members and guests for the event. Club members and Exco were engaged in welcoming the guests, introducing themselves and briefing the activities to the guests and visiting toastmasters, making them comfortable and clearing their doubts. 

Program Started

Toastmaster of the day Pravin Mishra, CC, CL, started the 15th Anniversary and Christmas Celebration by welcoming all present members and guests and provided glimpse of the lined up events

Ice Breaker Game

Amy Chen, CC, explained her  game which was about breaking ice in a different way. The game is all about interacting with each other in which everyone will pick one famous personality of their choice who is being motivational/inspirational to them and write it down on back of any one person. Once done, each person is allowed to ask one question regarding the personality of the person and try to guess the name written on their back. The first five persons who guess it correctly will win the game.    

Guest of Honor Speech by Div S Director

Naveena Methani, ALB,ACS, presented  her speech by congratulating the club on its 15th year anniversary celebration and appreciating the club growth throughout these years. She also mentioned that it may be easy to start a club, but the hardest part is to sustain it, and have it grows even stronger each passing year

Christmas Choral – Opening

Helen and team led the beautiful Christmas Carol and had all the members and guests join them in singing.  

Brief History of Club

Ang Wee Yong, DTM, congratulated the club on club’s 15th year anniversary. He had prepared video clip depicting the journey of the club from the very beginning till date. The video showcased the  milestones of the club from the chartering till present, and included the  chapter meetings over the years, collages of different club events and the, participation of the club members in different speech contests etc.

5/10/15 Years Certificate Distribution

All the club members who have completed 5/10/15 years with International Toastmasters Club are were awarded with a certificate by the Division S Director Naveena Methani, ALB, ACS

15 Year Celebration Cake Cutting Ceremony

All members and guests gathered for the symbolic Cake cutting ceremony to mark the club’s 15th year anniversary

Lunch and Mingling

Game II

Game Master Neo Yen Ping, ACS, ALB, kick-started the second game by invoking the creative style of each individual. Four teams were formed as the game involved team building activity. The idea was to create something depicting the club’s 15th Year Anniversary celebration. Each team is given a set of decorative items, 2 big sheets, sketch pen etc. 20 minutes were given to each team to prepare their creation, and thereafter 3 minutes were provided for the team representative to explain their creation. The judges. Pravin and Wee Yong were tasked to choose the winning team. 

Quiz Game

Quiz master  Abhishek Kapoor, CC, came up with a Fun Picture Quiz, in which there are four teams and one representative from each team will answer the question. Each correct answer will score 20 points to the team and if any team is unable to guess the answer, a hint is provided and the score is reduced to 10. In the event any team is still unable to answer the question, the question will be passed to another team. After much of the fun event, Team 1 and Team 2 tied the score and were declared joint winners.

A Walk down memory lane

Toastmaster of the day Ang Wee Young   DTM invited the Ex-Presidents of our club to share their journey with the club. Members were treated to the sharing of , how the club started, how Toastmasters have helped them personally as well as how the journey have helped them connect with a large group of members and how the club has grown stronger  each passing year.

Christmas Choral – Closing

Helen and team  sang the beautiful Christmas Carol Song and all the members and guests joined  in to mark the closing of the memorable event.  

Closing Address by Ex-President

Ex-president Pravin Mishra, CC, CL, addressed the members and guests in his closing speech by thanking all the committee members and guests for their enthusiasm and participation of the event. Certificates Certificates were also presented to all the organizing committee members.
