Meeting called to the Order

Sergeant at Arms TM Tan Kooi Ching called the 6^th Chapter meeting to order by welcoming all present members and guests. She requested everyone to introduce themselves.

Toastmaster of the day

Toastmaster of the day TM Shajeep kicked off the meeting by introducing the agenda of the meeting in detail and he also introduced all the role holders with their respective roles. 

Opening Address by Acting Club President:

Acting Club President TM Jyoti Soni, CC greeted all the members and guest present. Going by the theme of the day she shared an encouraging and enlightening story of “Jack Ma” (founder of biggest online shopping website Alibaba & China’s richest man). How his life is a beautiful example of success and failure, it was not just stroke of luck for Jack Ma to be successful business person, but result of his sheer hard work and efforts. With his strong determination to never give up and positive mindset towards life challenges made his way up to the place where he is today.

For her “LUCK” means: Learn, U= Understand, C= Creative, K =Knowledgeable.

She implored everyone by asking, What is your definition of “LUCK”?

Birthday Celebration 

As per club’s tradition we celebrated month’s birthday. Birthday boy TM Vincent Tan cut the cake and wished happiness & prosperity for all the members.

Refreshment break 

Meeting was adjourned for 30 minutes for munching and mingling.

Table Topics

The table topics Master Iskhandar Khan, CC conducted a very interesting table topics session based on the theme “Luck”, wherein members were invited to hone their impromptu skills by speaking up to 2 minutes.

Language Evaluation

Language Evaluator of the day TM Richard Sng, DTM galvanized everyone with his energetic experience in life. He introduced the word 'Analogy' and asked everyone to use one example during Table topics & Speech Evaluations. He explained wise use of words and their correct pronunciation. He provided insightful language evaluation based on fall tag line.
