Club’s 14^thChapter meeting started on time with fellowship. Our club members and the Exco team engaged  the guests by speaking to them and helping to answer their questions, making them feel welcomed. .

Meeting called to the Order
Sergeant-at- Arms Tan Teck Juon  called the 14^th Chapter meeting to order by welcoming all members present and guests. She requested guests to introduce themselves and express their thoughts on the theme of the day for the chapter meeting.

Toastmaster of the day
 Toastmaster of the day Jack Tan CC ,kicked off the meeting by reviewing  the agenda of the meeting and highlighted the changes. He also  introduced the role holders and explained their respective roles.

Word of the Day

Club Mentor Ang Wee Yong, DTM introduced the word of the day -"Trump"which means to surpass (verb) or as a deciding factor – “Trump card” (noun).

Opening address by Club President:

Club President Pravin CC began his opening address by wishing everyone "Gong Xi Fa Cai", signifyingHappiness, Longevity  and Prosperity in the year of the Rooster. He warmly welcomed all members and guests.

Pravin announced that our club has now reached membership strength of more than 60. This will infuse the club with more positive energy & more positive thoughts.

He shared his views about the different types of leaders and explained the different kind of leaders- Builders, Maintainers, or Destroyers. He implored all us to think and decide  what kind of leader we want to be -

He further encouraged all members to be part of Exco team to realize  their potential.

Special Event : CNY 2017 celebration

Organizing Team - Jack Tan, Chen Manman, Amy Chen, Lin Yun, and Neo Yen Ping.

Lin Yun and Amy explained how Chinese New Year were celebrated in their home towns in China. Yen Ping explained what the different ingredients in the Yusheng (raw fish salad), an auspicious dish eaten during Chinese New Year, signified.

The celebration culminated in everyone gathering and tossing the Yusheng! Everyone enjoyed the ritual to signify– the best of health & prosperity.
