Meeting called to Order

SAA Datta Gujjar called the meeting to order. The meeting started with an icebreaker session where members introduced themselves to one another and shared their views about the Theme of the day. 

Programme for the day

Thereafter, the Toastmaster of the day Abhishek Kapoor, introduced the role holders and their responsibilities. For the benefit of the guests and new members, he shared the sequence of events.

Opening address by Acting Club President

Club President, Neo Yen Ping in her opening address shared that we were all different in terms of our background, experience etc so there was no need to compare ourselves against the majority or follow the crowd, and she asked each one of us to follow our own Toastmaster journey. She further encouraged us to reflect and focus on our own goal towards becoming a better speaker or leader.

Refreshment break 

Meeting adjourned for 30 minutes for munching and networking break. All members joined in to celebrate the birthday of our member Manoj Chugani by cutting a cake.

Special Workshop – CHAMP Techniques - How to Score a Winning Speech!

With the Club contest around the corner, there was a special workshop by Ang Wee Yong, DTM on how to score a winning speech. In the workshop, he shared - the CHAMP technique – Confidence, Humor, Action, Message and Personalization that make a winning speech.

Closing Address by Club President

Club President Neo Yen Ping closed the meeting by thanking all Toastmasters and guests for attending the session. She also encouraged members to sign up for the annual club contest or help take up the roles.
